Alors que l'Association des infirmières praticiennes spécialisées du Québec a demandé dans un mémoire à ce que toutes les IPS puissent évaluer les troubles mentaux, six ordres professionnels ont exprimé leur désaccord, notamment le Collège des médecins du Québec. -
