Abréviations interdites dans les ordonnances: certaines interventions ont permis de réduire leur utilisation dans trois CHU
Dans la rédaction de leurs ordonnances, certains prescripteurs utilisent des abréviations qui sont jugées dangereuses. L'absence d'enregistrement par Santé Canada de l'opioïde tramadol sous la Loi réglementant certaines drogues et autres substances est indéfendable, affirme un chercheur en sécurité pharmaceutique, soulignant que la classification actuelle du médicament induit en erreur les médecins et d'autres professionnels de la santé.
