Le projet pilote en chirurgie, qui vise à comparer les coûts d’opération des chirurgies d’un jour entre les secteurs privé et le public, prend de l’ampleur. Deux cliniques privées s’ajoutent au projet expérimental, qui comptera maintenant sur la participation des anesthésiologistes. - 19/07/2018
La RAMQ corrige une erreur un an plus tard
La Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec (RAMQ) a informé, mercredi, les médecins omnipraticiens d’une erreur commise il y a plus d’un an lors de changements apportés aux catégories de problèmes de santé retenues aux fins de la détermination de la vulnérabilité d’un patient en vertu de l’entente particulière relative aux services de médecine de famille, de prise en charge et de suivi de la clientèle. - 19/07/2018
Fumeurs et anciens fumeurs recherchés par l’INESSS
L’Institut national d’excellence en santé et en services sociaux (INESSS), qui s’est vu confier le mandat d’évaluer la pertinence d’une éventuelle implantation du dépistage du cancer du poumon au Québec, est actuellement à la recherche de fumeurs ou anciens fumeurs pour participer de manière volontaire à un groupe de discussion. - 19/07/2018

La résistance aux antibiotiques constitue aujourd’hui l’une des plus grandes menaces pesant sur la santé mondiale, a statué l’Organisation mondiale de la Santé. Dans ce contexte, le rôle du pharmacien expert en infectiologie est capital. L'APES a recensé plusieurs données probantes sur ce rôle publiées dans un document en juillet.
