Médecins en quantité limitée
Lorsque des patients me disent qu'ils n'ont pas de médecin de famille, je me sens un peu triste et parfois en colère. Ces personnes ont payé des impôts toute leur vie pour bénéficier du système public de soins dont nous sommes si fiers au Canada. Pourtant elles doivent aller d’une clinique sans rendez-vous à une autre afin d'obtenir des renouvellements d’ordonnance, voyant souvent différents médecins. Des recherches précipitées érodent la confiance du public, prévient un rapport

Pharmacie: Québec compte abolir les frais de franchise et de coassurance pour la prolongation des ordonnances
Le cabinet du ministre de la Santé et des Services sociaux, Christian Dubé, a confirmé à ProfessionSanté.ca que le gouvernement envisageait actuellement d’abolir les frais de franchise et de coassurance pour les assurés du régime public d'assurance médicaments ayant besoin d'une prolongation de leur ordonnance par un pharmacien. - 30/10/2020
Sanctionné pour avoir harcelé sexuellement une collègue
Un obstétricien-gynécologue de la région de Québec a écopé d’une radiation de 15 mois pour avoir harcelé sexuellement une secrétaire de sa clinique médicale. Une sentence loin de satisfaire le syndic adjoint du Collège des médecins qui réclamait une radiation de cinq ans. - 29/10/2020
L’INESSS dit non à un autre dispositif de mesure du glucose en continu
L’Institut national d’excellence en santé et en services sociaux (INESSS) ne recommande pas le remboursement du système de mesure du glucose en continu Guardian Connect de Medtronic puisque la valeur thérapeutique du dispositif n’a pas été démontrée.
