Pharmacies: diminution du nombre de demandeurs de permis provenant d’autres pays
Après avoir été relativement stable durant deux années consécutives, le nombre de pharmaciens provenant du reste du Canada et de l'étranger qui ont demandé un permis de pratique au Québec a brusquement chuté l’an dernier. Projet de loi sur l’encadrement des chiens: les médecins devront signaler les morsures
Le projet de loi 128 sur l’encadrement des chiens déposé la semaine dernière par le ministre de la Sécurité publique, Martin Coiteux, stipule que les médecins et les vétérinaires auront l’obligation de signaler les morsures causées par ces animaux. «Un fardeau supplémentaire sur le dos des médecins», a commenté le Dr Bernard Mathieu, président de l'AMUQ. - 20/04/2017

L'apothicaire Louis Hébert a écrit le tout premier chapitre de l’histoire de la pharmacie au Québec. Le chercheur montréalais Mark Wainberg, expert du sida, meurt noyé
Le chercheur montréalais Mark Wainberg, connu à travers le monde pour ses travaux sur le VIH/sida, est mort en Floride. La police de Bal Harbour, près de Miami, a confirmé que M. Wainberg s’était noyé mardi après-midi alors qu’il nageait avec son fils. - 18/04/2017
