COVID 19: le virus ne muterait pas beaucoup

PEM 2020 en spécialité: encore de nombreux postes vacants
Les plans d’effectifs médicaux 2020 en spécialité font état de 617 places à pourvoir, soit 13 de moins que l’an dernier. Toutefois, même si chaque année au Québec, 450 médecins spécialistes en moyenne terminent leur résidence, le nombre de postes disponibles dans les hôpitaux continue de dépasser les 600 annuellement depuis 2016. - 27/03/2020
Les chercheurs doivent équilibrer la rigueur scientifique et la rapidité
Les études doivent encore respecter les contrepoids scientifiques habituels, même en cas de pandémie, soutient un professeur de virologie à l'Université d'Ottawa. COVID-19: Montréal pourrait bientôt faire l'objet de mesures plus strictes
À ce jour, Montréal abrite environ la moitié des cas de contamination parmi tous ceux recensés au Québec, soit 782 sur un total de 1629. Jeudi, en conférence de presse, le directeur national de la santé publique, le Dr Horacio Arruda, n'a pas donné de précisions sur ses intentions, mais il n'a pas exclu ce scénario dans le but d'éviter la propagation du virus dans la métropole.
