Asthme: que retenir des nouvelles recommandations de la SCT?
De nombreuses études démontrent l’efficacité des CSI quotidiennement pour les patients souffrant d’asthme léger. Or, ils sont largement sous-utilisés. Fin des examens généraux en pédiatrie: la FMOQ est préoccupée
Dès le 1er juillet prochain, les médecins de famille et les infirmières réaliseront tous les examens généraux chez les enfants en bonne santé, même ceux actuellement suivis par des pédiatres. Or, la FMOQ se demande si ses membres pourront prendre le relais des pédiatres. - 14/04/2021
Une centaine de chirurgies par semaine seront reportées au CHU de Québec
Le CHU de Québec-Université Laval (CHU) doit procéder à un délestage de l'ordre de 20 à 35 % des activités de chirurgies et de rendez-vous en cliniques externes afin d'accueillir les patients de plus en plus nombreux atteints de la COVID-19. - 14/04/2021
Une découverte montréalaise permet de mieux comprendre l'infertilité
Des chercheurs de l'IR-CUSM ont mis à jour de nouvelles étapes clés du processus par lequel l’ovule se détache des cellules folliculaires lors de l’ovulation. Une découverte qui permet de mieux comprendre l'infertilité et ouvre la voie à la recherche de nouveaux traitements. - 13/04/2021
Problèmes cardiaques: travailler de longues heures lié au risque de récidive
Les personnes qui travaillent plus de 55 heures semaines ont 67% plus de risque de présenter une récidive de problème cardiaque que celles travaillant de 35 à 40 heures par semaine, selon une récente étude de la Faculté de médecine et du Centre de recherche du CHU de Québec – Université Laval. - 13/04/2021
