La pratique consistant à effectuer un transfert d’ordonnance à un étudiant en pharmacie travaillant à titre d’assistant technique en pharmacie (ATP) ne respecterait pas le Code de déontologie des pharmaciens, prévient l’Ordre.
L’humeur était franchement optimiste lors du 27e congrès annuel des ATP organisé par le Humber College quelques mois avant la mise en oeuvre de la réglementation des ATP en Ontario.
Étant donné que plus de deux millions de Canadiens sont atteints de diabète, les ATP qui se spécialisent dans ce domaine ne manqueront pas d’occasions de mettre leurs connaissances en pratique.
Après avoir célébré son premier anniversaire, la PTSA (Pharmacy Technician Society of Alberta) vient de mener un sondage pour l’aider à définir ses priorités stratégiques et garantir à ses quelque 900 membres d’en avoir pour leur argent.
L’Association québécoise des assistants techniques en pharmacie entend profiter de l’année 2009 pour mieux définir le rôle que doivent jouer les ATP, notamment au sein des pharmacies communautaires.
